The primary job function of the Team Lead Business Systems Analysis (BSA Team Lead), an expert level position, is to be responsible for leading a team of BSA's which interact directly with management and users to analyze, specify, and design business applications. This position will be required to coach, mentor and direct work product for the team and/or assist in managing a technical staff.
Essential Job Functions:
* Assigns and directs work project and serves as a subject matter expert for the team. Mentors and coaches staff and assists with managing performance, writing performance reviews, staff development and retaining top talent. Collaborates with the project team to communicate and validate all necessary requirements have been fulfilled * Captures the customer's business requirements and business process management. Translates business requirements to specific, unambiguous and complete functional requirements that will be relied upon by designated project team * Documents scope of advanced software update requests through research and fact-finding. Provide estimates for the BSA deliverables
* Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
* Four (4)- five (5) years of insurance experience, including 1-2 years in the capacity of a Sr. BSA; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Supervisory or management experience preferred.
