Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Build, administer, maintain and scale a big data platform based on the Hadoop ecosystem with primary use cases around supporting data science, reporting, and other data-driven functionality, as well as data engineering pipelines and various supporting application services to expose the data platform as a consumable service for domains across the entire organization

Required Qualifications:

(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Must have at least a bachelor's degree (or foreign earned equivalent degree) in a computer or engineering field + min 24 months' work experience in cloud-based big data using Java, Scala or Python, including Hadoop and ecosystem technologies, containerization, relational databases, system administration and dev ops with CI/CD. Testing required.
