Job Description

We are looking for a BI Software Development Engineer to join our team in Kirkland, WA. We are looking for a BI Software Development Engineer who has expertise in SQL Server Development and an understanding of large scale data warehouse solutions built on SQL Server 2012. Your responsibilities will include the following:

* Participate in Business Requirements and Functional Requirements meetings, identify gaps in requirements and drive discussion around appropriate solutions
* Design and code high quality database solutions within a fast paced monthly release cycle
* Create Technical Design Specification documentation that clearly articulates the design and code being implemented
* Conduct thorough unit testing of code and document the unit test cases
* Conduct appropriate performance testing to ensure all solutions will meet strict SLAs and performance criteria
* Provide support as needed throughout SIT and UAT phases

Requirements:

* At least 3 years of SQL Server development experience writing complex stored procedures, triggers, views, etc.
* Strong data warehouse design and physical data modeling skills
* Previous experience working with the following SQL Server functionality: log shipping, replication, mirroring, Service Broker, table partitioning
* Good problem solving skills
* Excellent coding and debugging skills
* Strong written communication, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and work on multiple tasks in parallel
* Analysis Services/OLAP experience a plus
* BS/BA Degree or equivalent
