Job Description:

The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO). Finance Technology, part of CT, has a charter to meet the technology needs of the Global Finance organization across MIS, General Ledger, Regulatory, Forecasting and reporting functions. Finance Technology has embarked upon a multi-year to convergence of Regulatory and MIS onto the Corporate Data Lake.

As a Software Engineer you will join a team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, development, coding, testing of analytical services for consumption of data from the Corporate Data Lake. In addition, you will be sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

4+ years' experience on software development projects, with hands-on experience with Java 8.

4+ years' experience with databases and pl/sql (Oracle, Impala, etc)

Experience working with third-party analytical tools, Tableau etc

Big Data Exposure e.g Hadoop/ HDFS/ Spark / Scala desirable

Experience in Agile SDLC and working proficiency in developmental toolsets

Knowledge of various financial instruments is desirable

Excellent team spirit and ability to work in collaborative environment

Ability to working under own initiative

Experience working as part of Finance/Regulatory reporting team a plus
