The BI Data Visualization Expert will use cutting edge techniques and tools build clear, accessible dashboards for every department at Coyote. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and front-end design. Knowledge of traditional back-end BI skills is important, but a dedication to interface development and user interaction is essential. He or she will translate the stakeholders' needs and Coyote's data into thoughtful, reliable solutions.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

* Design dashboards that communicate information effectively and move audiences from inaction to action
* Conduct exploratory data analysis to locate patterns and trends
* Work directly with senior level personnel to gather requirements and understand business needs
* Leverage statistical analysis and data modeling to predict future events.
* Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and introducing new ideas

Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience

* 3+ years of experience with Tableau
* 3+ years of experience with SQL
* Multiple years of experience in one or more of the following: Power BI, Sisense, Domo, Google Analytics or SAP
* Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Statistics, or related subject area
* Highly independent and motivated with the ability to work in a team environment as well
* Strong communication and presentation skills

Valued Skills & Experience

* Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby on Rails)
* Statistical computing experience (R, Python)
* Relevant Tableau or Microsoft certifications
