* Maintain a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of Chubb Thailand data model and database schemas for the Chubb Thailand applications so as to effectively support production systems, business users and IT colleagues on systems support and project requirements * Performance Monitoring & Housekeeping - Monitor the performance of Chubb Thailand production databases and support the "housekeeping" and day-to-day maintenance of those systems in liaison with local, regional and AOG IT support staff as needed. * Development & Support - Support business users and IT counterparts on application / database troubleshooting, development / maintenance of business user applications and specialised data extract/report requirements as needed. * Participate in developing IT solutions and strategies with other members of the IT team. * focuses on oversee day to day Operation tasks including: - Generate reports from all Chubb Thailand systems; Run jobs, Run Billing, Checking jobs, and Restore data if required; Reconciled figures between 2 different systems; etc. * Investigate Production problems/requests and suggest recommend resolutions. Assist in assessing the impact and/or effort required to do a problem fix or enhancement. * Liaison with US based corporate IT organization as well as regional / local IT teams during the execution of projects and other corporate initiatives. * Effective working relationship with IT Service Desk & other members within the IT team. Will be held joint accountability for the IT organization's service level agreements for 2nd & 3rd level support. * Leverage the Chubb network global/regional/local to share knowledge, learn of other best practice and new technology in order to land on quicker solutions and also create support for new innovative ways of business operations. * Development of standard documentation for Operation procedures and timely update * Accountability and responsible for the delivery of IT projects identified in support of the regional systems strategy and project working groups / teams. * Co-Support Integration of Production Systems With MIS - Work with the MIS /Developer on data integration needs and troubleshooting to ensure that the integration of production system data with the MIS system is optimised. * Database Security - Ensure database security settings are maintained in keeping with the approved access levels and security policies. * Change Control - Ensure change management is handled as per the established Change Control procedure * Effective Communication - Ensure effective communication is maintained through timely sharing and exchange of information across the local IT team as well as with regional/AOG IT and business users as required * Support - Ensure the procedures are followed when working on user support problems including use of the Service Now system for problem ticket management. * Release Management - Assist in the preparation of new software releases and planning of application software upgrades for business applications as required. * Ensuring IT governance, standards, procedures and regulations are adhered to at all times.
* Bachelor in Computer Sicence or related fields is desirable * Good self-discipline * Be punctual * Keeps commitment

* 3-4 years experience in application development, systems support and application database management with exposure to a Windows Server/.NET environment Independent, proactive, confident character. * Experience with SQL (2005/2008) / Web Services / SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) / SQL Integration Services (SSIS), MS Visual Studio, MS Access, VBA Strong contract drafting and communication skills (oral and written). * Previous experience in the non-life insurance industry is a plus
