Job Description

* Implement, maintain, and monitor SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, production)
* Maintain integrity of SAP environments by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly using structured approach to minimize risk
* Design and implement an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability
* Monitor installation and configuration of all required SAP database servers and application servers at hosting provider
* Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles
* Distribute the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP background job workload
* Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances
* Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required
* Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies
* Perform Database Administration activities on SAP databases as required
* Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades
* Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces
* Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and standards
* Manages IBM and or other hosting relationship
* May be required to work off-hours or weekends to support business in case of business-critical failures
* Contribute on medium to larger scale SAP projects
* Other duties as assigned

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

* 10+ years of related experience in SAP BASIS administration, preferably in the apparel and/or footwear industries
* 1+ years of experience with SAP HANA
* Experience with a global multi-company, multi-currency SAP environment with country specific requirements
* Highly organized, focused, process-oriented, analytical, and possesses great attention to detail
* Strong analytical, communication & interpersonal skills, verbal & written
* Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
* HANA and/or Sybase Database Administration skills a plus
* SAP certification
