CRM & Analytics Team Overview: The CRM & Analytics team is a highly strategic and cross-functional team responsible for leading the firm's global digitalization effort. This initiative, spanning all client-facing business units and corporate functions, will drive innovation and strategic change through technology, data science, and deep analytics. The team partners with key business leaders and industry experts to build transformational technology to drive revenue, maximize efficiency, and optimize the allocation of resources. The CRM & Analytics team is at the forefront of Jefferies' cloud initiative, leveraging best-in-class cloud-based technologies to replace legacy on-premises solutions to provide intelligent trend insights, actionable opportunities, decision support, and transparency into all client and business-related activities. Position Overview: The technical business analyst will be responsible for translating technical code logic into business rules. The project is to re-write a legacy application and there is a need to document all aspects of the legacy application from basic functions to reporting use cases. The technical business analyst will work with product managers, software developers, and business owners to help facilitate the migration to a new reporting and data entry application. • Communicate efficiently to all project stakeholders, internally and clients. • Create detailed project plans • Create detailed business requirements for business process and rules. • Create detailed requirements for data and security. • Work with QA to ensure test cases cover and evaluate the business functions being performed. • Able to document and understand information from multiple sources (data, interviews, code, etc.) • Ability to work with both business and technical teams fluidly. Basic Requirements: • 7+ years technical business analyst professional work experience • Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications (BRD, etc.) • Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL • Working knowledge of Java • SDLC - Agile, Waterfall • Jira and Confluence experience • Curious, relentless with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical skills including the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with accuracy and extraordinary attention to detail Desired Skills • Investment Banking knowledge and understanding • Jasper Reporting knowledge is a plus
