An Operations Monitoring Analyst for Duck Creek Technologies will primarily be responsible for monitoring and assessing potential issues relating to critical IT applications, systems and devices. The Operations Monitoring Analyst will monitor all incoming alerts using various tools, and perform actions based on predefined instructions.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, and/or related field.
* 0-2 years of professional software development experience preferred
* 0-2 years of cloud based monitoring and product support experience preferred
* Basic understanding of the following monitoring: Application health, system availability, latency, performance and end-to-end monitoring.
* Working knowledge of supportive software including: Dynatrace, OMS, SolarWinds, McAfee EPO, and others
* Basic knowledge of technology terminology regarding Property & Casualty IT
* Basic knowledge of technology terminology regarding Microsoft Azure
* Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
* Must know how to use Excel (pivot tables, V-lookup functions)

Responsibilities:

* Participates in the ongoing process of investigating, troubleshooting, and providing resolution to technical issues in a 24x7x365 environment.
* Quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of the applications and infrastructure within the Duck Creek OnDemand environment, and how they are leveraged by carriers
* Stay informed of production changes that could affect functionality and alerting.
* Ability to coordinate across teams, working closely with peers to ensure the appropriate focus and sense of urgency is applied to all issues.
* Accurately troubleshoot, reproduce and document issues and other pertinent information
* Create and maintain Runbook content.
* Handle incident queue and perform various tasks as necessary
