Overview

Our Client, a global retailer, has recently completed the design of their new global retail architecture. The next phase of the project is to begin building the service-oriented architecture and defining an application virtualization approach. As a team member, you will rapidly build a global integration service that can support seamless customer experience in real-time. The project's success is measured by a fully functional product that can be integrate with any POS application.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Experience in Azure DevOps projects, VisualStudio Pro, and Azure Devtest Labs is a must
* Experience in developing services using emerging architectures; ex: Gartner's Mesh App Service Architecture (MASA)
* Design and implement cloud-based solutions for Azure platform
* Support for other prototyping projects to build API services
* Take part in designing, gathering technical requirements and development of API services
* Participate in assessment & evaluation sessions and discussions for rationalizing Integration platform
* Collaborate with BA/Tester to test the prototyped API services
* Ability to build mockup UIs to integrate with backend API services
* Good communication skills with demonstrated technical leadership and are able to work both independently and as a part of a team
* Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks, creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments

Technical Skills:

* ASP.NET, Java or any emerging languages
* Excellent working experience in Azure DevOps tools to build, version, track, and bundle products
* Azure API Apps to build APIs, Azure Resource Manager
* Experience using VisualStudio Pro or other IDEs such as Eclipse
* Using ASPNet Core or NSwag to generate Swagger API documentation
* Branching & Merging experience with source control systems, GIT, MS TFS, Beanstalk, Bitbucket, Azure Cloud Services, Azure VM's
* Knowledge of containerizations tools such as Azure Container Service, Jenkins, Docker, or Docker Swamp, K8S
* Experience with agile development practices, including writing tests, code reviews, unit testing and continuous integration
* Scripting skills (PowerShell, python, ruby, Perl, etc.)
* Authentication using Azure AD as an Identity Provider to federate user authentication using any popular SSO protocols such as OAuth
* Experience in developing integrations to consuming SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, SFTP, CSV, EDI, and other common data sources
* Experience in developing to integrate with ERP systems such as SAP, JDE
* Containerization & Orchestration experience (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) is a plus
* Experience with Application server administration and Configuration Management tools (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Docker) is a plus
* Linux System Administration experience; possible, CentOS, or RedHat
