Candidate will join an expanding team of cloud architects. The initial focus of this position is establishment of an Azure cloud governance model that provides maximum flexibility for agile development while guaranteeing security and controlling cost. The solution must be auditable, include operational monitoring, and position us for chargeback.

Qualifications:

Client is seeking an experienced cloud architect to join our Infrastructure Planning team. Infrastructure Planning is part of a centralized IT department that is collectively responsible for the evaluation, planning, design, and implementation for all the corporation's IT infrastructure components, both on-prem and in the cloud. We are looking for an IT architect with extensive Azure experience to assist in designing cloud and hybrid solutions leveraging our growing Azure presence which currently includes hundreds of virtual machines and dozens of PaaS application. We also rely heavily on Azure Active Directory and have 15,000 Office 365 users.

The candidate should possess a deep understanding of these Azure technologies:

? Azure Resource Manager, ARM templates, and PowerShell

? Azure DevOps, integration with Azure Resource Manager, and modern agile development methodologies

? Azure Policy, RBAC permissions, Custom roles

? Azure API Management and all forms of App Service including Logic Apps and Function

? Azure Active Directory, ADFS, and identity protocols like SAML, oAuth, and openID

? Azure Cost Management and Power BI

? Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and App Insights

? Strong technical writing skills (English)

? Minimum of 2 years hands-on Azure experience

? Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

? Strong attention to detail and the ability to create documents on a variety of technical levels

? Proven experience demonstrating excellent team skills with internal and external clients

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of personnel and management

? Associates Degree Required. Bachelor/Masters degree preferred.

Additionally, the candidate should have the following skills or working knowledge of the listed technologies:

? AAD App registrations and Application proxy

? Azure Application Gateway and Front Door

? Azure networking constructs including Express Route, vNets, load balancers, traffic manager, firewalls, network security groups, and peering

? Azure virtual machines, backup, encryption, and templates.

? Azure service bus, relays, notification hub, and event grid

? Deployment of PaaS services in a vNet including App Service Environments, SQL Managed Instance, and Integration Service Environments

? Azure storage accounts and StorSimple

? Azure development using .Net, Java, Python, or some other platform

? Certificate management and Azure Key Vault

? Networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, RDP, SSL, HTTPS, switching, routing, subnetting, and VLANs

? Windows Server and RHEL
