Automation Test Engineer

The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for defining, documenting, analyzing, performing and interpreting functional tests for new and/or modified software in the Credit Solutions space. This person drives the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other technical personnel. The Automation Test Engineer takes ownership and proactively collaborates with Engineers, Product, and Design to deliver complete solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the development and execution of integration, system, and regression testing of software
* Lead testing activities for project/value stream efforts while maintaining high quality execution; identifying task dependencies, test schedules, and the utilization of test environments
* Ensure test deliverables are prepared per enterprise guidelines; monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met
* Interact with the product delivery team; actively participates in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedules
* Coordinate the execution of integration, system, and regression testing of software
* Assess readiness and deviation of project performance based on test results
* Provide and practice automation development efficiency, maintainability and re-usability
* Troubleshoot problems during automation execution
* Prepare and maintain domain documentation

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
* At least 4 years of experience in software testing
* At least 2 years of experience working in one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, or Python
* At least 2 years of experience designing and developing automation frameworks
* At least 1 year of experience working with development teams administering software delivery tools (GIT/GitHub, AWS, or Jenkins)
* At least 1 year of experience with Selenium

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
* 5+ years of overall IT experience in development or test automation
* 4+ years of of experience working in one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, or Python
* 2+ years of experience working in cloud automation in AWS
* 1+ years of experience working in a hybrid Cloud environment
* 1+ years of experience in data quality
* 2+ years of experience with automation testing frameworks: Selenium, Protractor, or Mocha
