Job Description:

The Automation Project Manager will be responsible for management of robotic process automation (RPA) projects and will support the Automation Center of Excellence (COE) in the design and deployment of optimized SOPs, business transformation, change management, and implementation of various Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) solutions across Dentsu Aegis Network.

This position will need to develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, project team members, and stakeholders across various business functions and DAN Media brands in the US. The ideal PM/BA needs to be results-oriented, and highly efficient and effective at managing multiple concurrent work streams with competing near-term priorities, while staying focused on the overall long-term Automation COE's goals and objectives. To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about all things related to project management, process excellence, workflow automation, and the principles of continuous improvement (Kaizen). Your top strengths will include expertise in multiple project management tools and methodologies, interpersonal skills (e.g. active listening, diplomacy, collaboration, negotiation, etc.), and a high degree of emotional intelligence (EQ).

Project Management Responsibilities

* Lead multiple concurrent Automation projects with external partners, and internal cross-agency, cross-functional team members
* Conduct research (internally and externally), gather information and analyze findings in preparation for new projects
* Create business cases and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet continuously changing needs and requirements
* Evaluate new work requests, identify resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, and schedule action items
* Proactively provide regular updates and prepare progress/status/budget reports to the COE, project teams, and stakeholders
* Develop process maps, workflows, charts, templates, etc. that will assist projects teams in completing their work
* Act as the primary point of contact for project teams for all issues, questions, and change requests
* Anticipate risks and issues, create escalation procedures, and risk mitigation plans
* Lead internal status meetings effectively, capture, store, and distribute meeting notes
* Review all work and coordinate internal quality assurance reviews, as needed
* Keep track of lessons learned and share best practices with other PMs and internal teams
* Continuously learn and acquire new skills and in turn train other team members
* Participate in brainstorming sessions with the COE and project teams
* Suggest areas for improvement along with possible solutions

Essential Skills and Abilities

* Proficient in all aspects of project management process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring / controlling, closing)
* Ability to effectively prioritize, execute tasks, and handle a range of projects simultaneously within a high-pressure environment
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communications skills with tenacity to solve project team's problems quickly and to provide them with excellent customer service
* Process driven, highly organized and methodical with excellent time management skills, strong business ethics, and political awareness
* An enthusiastic and committed attitude, flexible problem-solver, open to participate and promote change within the organization
* Self-starter with ability to think independently and work autonomously when necessary and a desire to succeed among fellow professionals

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree
* At least two (2) years of project management experience within an interactive advertising or digital marketing agency environment
* At least two (2) years of experience with web-based project management software, such as MS Project, Workfront, or similar
* Superior proficiency in MS Office 365 applications including Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, and Outlook
* Advanced proficiency in screen-sharing and teleconference applications such as WebEx, LogMeIn, Skype, or similar
* Project Management training, PMI certification or equivalent is desired but not required
