Job Description

Workday User Interface is generated dynamically from metadata. Our engineers focus on building beautiful user experiences without worrying about the application logic. Built on modern, standards-based technologies, UI is meticulously crafted - and deployed continuously to customers using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The Associate Software Development Engineer will start by assisting the UI Client Core team to build a reusable React component library. Additional responsibilities may include enhancing the UI Framework to extend its capabilities to deliver the best user experience for all users.

We're looking for:

* JavaScript experience - knowledge of front-end web development with a good understanding of modern JavaScript libraries & frameworks (React/Redux)


* 1+ years work experience with front-end web development, React is a plus


* Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.


* Utilize common design patterns. (MVC, Inversion of Control, Event-driven systems)


* Hands-on with testing, build automation, deployments, and monitoring (in addition to design and implementation).


* Accessibility experience is a strong plus


* GWT experience a plus
