The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of Brackets service offerings including: eCOA, RTSM, Rater Training and Quality Assurance services to pharmaceutical clients. This position is responsible for development and management of projects throughout full life cycle for assigned projects while operating within a team matrix environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management (60%)

Oversight

* Manage all phases of each assigned project, from scoping through close-out
* Manage all aspects of projects including budget, invoicing, staffing, project plan and client deliverables
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining project schedule and quality deliverables within a dynamic global environment
* Provide recurring project status reporting and ensure proper escalation
* Oversee proper training and allocation of Project Specialists and/or Project Assistants to facilitate project tasks

Delivery

* Ensure both timely and quality preparation of project deliverables based on assigned scope-of-services; Oversee development and approval of study materials. Coordinate with internal departments and subject matter experts for clinical and technical deliverables across global locations
* Collaborate with external vendors and client teams
* Adhere to Total Quality Management requirements (including Standard Operating Procedures)
* Development, configuration, testing and implementation of proprietary Bracket technical solutions including User Acceptance Testing
* Manage and maintain additional study hardware, site documentation, and data files for clinical trial execution
* Facilitate data management deliverables in conjunction with internal and external Data Management teams
* Deliverables may include: Data Management Plan, Data Transfer Specifications, Data Reporting and Analytics, and in support of additional study related-items

Financial Accountability

* Track monthly and quarterly metrics (project budgets) and provide regular reporting metrics to Senior Management
* Manage scope change, development and processing of change orders including socialization for assigned projects in cooperation with Business Development Operations Management of Profitability, Utilization and Allocation for assigned projects

Logistics and Support (20%)

* Manage identification and resolution of clinical trial data inquiries/data changes and communication to internal and external multi-function resources within project teams
* Manage communications with client (e.g. pharmaceutical sponsor, CRO) and site personnel regarding site/study details
* Train and support site personnel and study team on Bracket technical platforms
* Daily completion of project activities and workflow including real-time issue escalation and resolution

Client and Account Management (10%)

* Assess and identify areas of need and new opportunities in support of existing projects
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships including routine written, verbal and face-to-face communication
* Communicate lessons learned for new Business Development and future scoping opportunities

Administration (10%)

* Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback for supervised direct reports in support of career development
* Competency and expertise to provide oversight on all tasks completed by project team members

Required Skills and Experience

*
  • 3+ years of professional experience with one to two years of project management experience
    * College degree (B.S., B.A.)/University Degree or equivalent years experience
    * Experience with managing work plans, project budgets, invoicing, resource allocation and deliverable management
    *
    * Demonstrated analytical, organizational, creative problem solving and communication skills
    * Strong client and vendor relationship skills
    * Experience in career development and team management
    * Flexibility to travel globally for business (frequency based on business need)
    * Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
    * Fluent in English (will be required to write, speak and understand English to conduct business)
    * Ability to manage time proactively and prioritize tasks effectively
    * Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, drive and work ethic
    * Professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry and Good Clinical Practice is preferred
