Overview

Join the ProConnect Group, Digital Marketing CRM Team which focuses on email and direct mail marketing campaigns that support our Professional Tax Products and related attach products and services.

We are seeking a Creative Production HTML Developer that has extensive experience coding emails and using coding best practices, as well as experience using marketing automation platforms and content management systems to develop HTML assets. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced and date-driven environment managing multiple projects and deadlines. The candidate is also able to prioritize their own workload to meet changing priorities.

Responsibilities

* Programming of all forms of marketing emails and landing pages
* Code emails using email coding best practices and techniques such as responsive design. Ensure code is rendering correctly across all email clients and troubleshoot code as needed
* Work directly in our Marketing Automation platform (Eloqua) as well as developing landing pages using our content management system (Adobe AEM)
* Work with internal and external visual designers, copywriters, marketing managers, and marketing operations managers to bring the email and landing pages to life
* Manage deliverability platform, make suggestions to improve and implement new technologies
* Be familiar with delivery services vendors like Return Path to manage the health of our overall email communications
* Own the design portal for our email and web template library and keep current with new capabilities

Some examples of a daily workflow include:

* Proactively work with marketers and design teams to prioritize and commit to deadlines. Uploading creative to review tool for feedback, making changes, and working directly with marketers/design team to clarify changes if unclear
* Simultaneously juggle multiple coding projects such as monthly newsletters, multi-touch email series, and updates to existing HTML email creative
* Test and QA final coded email assets before releasing to marketers for handoff to email vendor. Ensure images, code is clean and error free. Will trouble shoot, find fixes, and answer questions from our email vendor when they arise
* Create new emails and landing pages using templates and/or taking new design concepts to code from scratch
* Create new images or editing existing imagery

Qualifications

* Expert in hand-coding HTML and inline CSS, JavaScript a plus
* Design experience (layout and typography)
* Code full-functioning HTML templates to spec from Photoshop files
* Knowledge of methods and best practices to employ in order to get emails to render consistently across all email clients
* A strong sense of web design and user experience fundamentals
* Proficient in Photoshop
* Experience preferred in Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua) and/or using content management systems such as Adobe AEM.
* Experience working in large matrix organization
* Able to work in a fast pace, ever-changing environment
* Ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects, and prioritize work
* Detail oriented
* Process oriented
* 3+ years in email coding
