Job Description

Job Title: Associate Director, C#/SQL Developer

Department: Information Technology

Job Reports To: Head of Back Office Development and Application Support

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Summary:

Cohen and Steers is currently seeking a highly motivated C# Programmer in our New York IT department. The individual will be part of a dynamic development team, which supports a global user base. The individual will work closely with our Back Office Development Team in solving complex problems and developing solutions to integrate with Salesforce and build reports using the Vermilion (VRS) client reporting system.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

* Responsible for developing reporting and integration solutions related to Salesforce and Vermilion
* Development of web-based solutions to allow users to import and export data from our strategic platforms (EzeCastle OMS, BroadRidge Security and Pricing Master, BiSam B-One, Performance Engine, Datawarehouse)

Minimum Requirements:

* A Bachelor's Degree in the Information Technology field is required
* 3+ years' experience with C#, ASP.Net MVC, and SQL Server in a similar financial services environment
* Proven experience with Salesforce, its APIs, and various adapters to import data and facilitate reporting on the application
* Substantial experience in developing application solutions through all phases of the application lifecycle from initial requirements gathering to ongoing enhancements
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication, in order to communicate with all levels of end users and help develop sustainable business solutions that address user requirements
* Ability to work with users and managers to prioritize between tasks
* Proven vendor management skills
* Reasonable financial product knowledge, specifically index benchmark creation, portfolio analytics and security pricing sources

Beneficial Skills

* Experience working on various phases of client reporting
* Experience with Vermilion or similar workflow driven reporting application and familiarity to create templates, workflows, schedules, and report generation
* Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, and SQL Server Reporting Services
* Experience of using job scheduling software (JAMS, ActiveBatch, AutoSys or equivalent)
* Technical writing and documentation proficiency
