We're growing rapidly and are currently seeking an Associate Security Consultant to support our Seattle office.
What you'll do
The Associate Security Consultant will work as part of a team assessing the security and compliance of client firms against a variety of regulatory standards including SOC 1/SOC 2, SSAE 18, PCI-DSS, and others. As you develop, you will have the opportunity to earn various industry certifications (CISA, CISSP, QSA, etc.) commensurate with your experience. Associates who have demonstrated a strong work ethic and technical acumen have been promoted quickly and have assumed greater responsibility as they have grown.
What you'll bring
* Bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience * Zero to three years (0-3) years of experience in IT and/or information security * Practical technical understanding of system and/or network administration * Experience with Operating System(s) configuration * Exposure to Switches, Routers, Wireless (Wi-Fi) * Exposure to Firewalls and IDS/IPS * Basic understanding of information security principles and concepts * Exposure to Threat and Vulnerability assessment * Knowledge of Security Frameworks (ISO, NIST, FISMA, COBIT, NERC CIP, etc.) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with statutes and regulations across multiple industries that are relevant to IT (e.g. SOX 404, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GLB, Patriot Act) * A strong desire to jump start your career and enter the rapidly growing field for IT control management * Ability to travel 25%
