Position Overview

Apollo is seeking a technology professional with strong technical development skills to join our Corporate Financial Systems team. This role will have significant exposure to various corporate finance infrastructure groups across the firm and requires critical thinking and creativity in designing holistic solutions to address complex business needs. The successful candidate will play a vital part in implementing OneStream platform solutions that benefit numerous departments across Apollo.

Primary Responsibilities

* Provides maintenance, technical support and change management of OneStream applications, including but not limited to the creation and maintenance of:
* User security and access rights
* Mapping transformations
* Reports and book sets, etc.
* Connections to source systems
* Business rules


* Creates documentation and training materials for OneStream and related processes
* Participates in OneStream application ownership responsibilities including DR testing, patching, upgrades, etc. and on-call support
* Adherence to Global Technology's policies, procedures and controls

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience and Qualifications

* 3-7 years of application development experience in IT industry including knowledge in financial systems, multi-dimensional databases, business Intelligence, and/or online analytical processing (OLAP) development
* Prior experience using SQL and VB.NET
* Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents and process maps
* Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals, development teams, and end users.
* Understanding, analyzing and articulating common business processes and decisions to develop easy to use customer solutions
* Bachelor's degree required; strong preference for candidates with degrees in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related fields

Desired Experience and Qualifications

* Previous experience with OneStream Software
* OLAP and/or Consolidation software (e.g. Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Financial Management)
* Financial ERPs, (e.g. PeopleSoft Financials GL module)

* Independent and self-driven
* Ability to troubleshoot with little supervision
* Ability to operate both independently and in a team environment
* Outstanding MS Office skills, specifically with Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Advanced problem-solving skills.
* Capable of working well under pressure while dealing with unexpected problems in a professional manner

Capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple complex projects/tasks with a great attention to detail
