About this role
The Aladdin Relationship Management Group manages the partnerships formed with each BlackRock Solutions client. These clients include large and sophisticated institutional investors such as insurance companies, corporations, asset managers, pension funds, banks, and other financial institutions. The Relationship Management Group is highly focused on understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organizations and on providing investment process solutions that leverage the capabilities of the entire BlackRock Solutions organization.
BlackRock Solutions is rapidly expanding. We are looking for a candidate to work on implementations as part of a team and provide ongoing Relationship Management for clients. This includes managing senior level client relationships as well as providing day to day support, including onsite at client offices.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Provide support for key client projects that relate to use of Aladdin
* Become a trusted partner to client senior management and key staff
* Understand client business processes, motivations and product interests, and Aladdin capabilities to ensure clients are getting the most value from the platform
* Problem solve and guide clients on risk management practices and understanding analytics
* Develop a strong working relationship with clients and project teams and be able to convey client requirements to Aladdin product management, Financial Modeling, and development teams
* Analyze client issues and develop approaches to remediate them
* Actively manage client communications, including Release Notes, Newsletters, and other notices
Requirements:
* Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry. The most suitable candidates will have experience in asset management, risk management, analytics or investment systems support.
* BA/BS required; CFA or MBA a plus.
* Excellent organizational and communication (written and presentation) skills.
* Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment; able to manage multiple priorities.
* Strategic thinker with the aptitude for translating analysis and new ideas into actionable deliverables.
* Strong computer skills and an aptitude for learning new systems.
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships.
