Job Description

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Configuration Analyst 1 position to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, California.

This position will require the individual to perform Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) of the Air Vehicle while in Depot Maintenance.

The Configuration Analyst will be responsible for recording and reporting of information needed to manage the configuration of hardware and/or software products, including records of the approved configuration documentation,

serialized components and unique part identifications, status of proposed changes, deviations, and waivers.

Use of NGC data systems, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to identify Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) removed/installed and track modification of aircraft systems through TCTOs.

Use of government data system (REMIS) to update configuration changes to tracked parts, document completion of modifications, update time change and inspection due times/dates, create maintenance documentation and to provide

failure data.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of experience, 2 years additional related experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

Must have an active and current DOD Secret clearance (able to maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and a SAR clearance

prior to start).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in hardware configurations, familiar with the Configuration Status Accounting processes, to include Engineering and Manufacturing

processes.

* Teamcenter experience highly desirable.
* Knowledge of CAD drawing and manufacturing documentation is beneficial.
* Current SAP/SAR level clearance
* Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Excel desirable.
