We are seeking Associate Systems Analyst (Java Programmer) at our Lake Forest Corporate Headquarters.

This is a "temp to hire" opportunity.

We are looking for Associate Systems Analyst (Java Programmer) to fill newly created position in our Java development group located in Lake Forest, IL. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in many different aspects of our company and serve in a crucial role to further expand our electronic offerings to internal and external users.

Basic Qualifications/Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.

2-4 years programming experience.

Strong programming skills and attention to details

Ability to effectively code according to specifications

Ability to comprehend business requirements and design specifications

Strong troubleshooting skills

Experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously; assessing status and risk of assignments

Ability and desire to research technical options and apply technical knowledge to practical application

Ability to coordinate with colleagues

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently

A responsive, proactive approach to assessing and resolving potential problems

The technical skills successful candidates should possess are:

Strong knowledge of J2EE application development techniques and object-oriented analysis and design experience

Knowledge of Servlets, Java Beans, JSP, and XML

Application Server technologies such as IBM WebSphere, including WebSphere MQ

Strong SQL experience in an Oracle/SQL Server environment

Familiarity with a .NET environment
