Job Description Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Maintaining NMCI seat ordering information into the NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET), supporting the Move, Add, Change (MAC) process. Work with the customers to ensure seat requirements are entered into the system and meet the NMCI / Navy's business rules.

Maintain employee accounts and order seats within NET to include creating profiles for new employees, ordering seats, transferring assets and terminating seats as employees leave and positions are backfilled.

Work with teams to ensure that seat orders are cost effective, accurate and meet competency guidelines.

Assist customers encountering obstacles in the processes for receiving computers or applicable documentation by forwarding issues for resolution to appropriate process owners.

Act as a liaison between customers and the NMCI, elevating questions, concerns, and issues regarding receipts of machines and peripherals to the site.

Attend NMCI War Room and Primary POC meetings to remain informed on current NMCI processes, procedures and end-user issues.

Assist users with MAC policies and procedures to include approval and monitoring of allotted MACs.

Re-imaging Science and Technology (S&T) seats by:

Replacing user's mouse, keyboard and monitors.

Loading and configuring approved software.

Loading additional internal peripheral (i.e., memory modules, video cards, etc.)

Provide preliminary NMCI desktop troubleshooting prior to contacting the NMCI Help Desk.

Required Skills A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in computer science, information systems management, (preferred) and 2-4 years Active Secret Clearance Required. Security + Certification
