Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.

Duties: Design, develop and support financial applications and analytical tools supporting risk management functions, including the CitiRisk credit system. Work closely with business representatives in the risk space to discuss business requirements and related solutions and write code in java to implement solutions. Enhance and modify logical and physical data models and build scripts to support application configurations. Execute application performance tuning and diagnose bottlenecks. Perform code reviews and design and prototype technical solutions. Execute unit testing and ensure software code optimization. Manage build infrastructure, continuous development, and integration of risk management tools within the CitiRisk system. Liaise with end users and provide subject matter expertise to gather business requirements and discuss technical solutions. Develop and maintain monitoring tools and write system monitoring scripts. Enforce software development best practices and provide mentorship on domain modelling, code quality, code reviews, and testing. Report on project status and related risks to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or a closely related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in specified fields and three (3) years of specified experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: Designing and developing software and financial applications, executing code reviews, and unit testing using Java, J22EE and software design patterns; Building infrastructure and troubleshooting of distributed computing; Prototyping solutions in support of trading pricing and valuation and portfolio analysis; Providing technical support to users in support of risk management functions; Unix scripting and front-end programming, including EXTJS, HTML5, SQL, Perl, Python and JSP; Risk Exposure Management, including applying root cause analysis to explain exposure variances.Qualified applicants submit resumes referencing job code EJ/ADTLA/KB to Citigroup Recruiting Department, 3800 Citigroup Center Drive, Tampa, FL 33610.
