Our team is responsible for creating the best shopping experience for customers wherever they go on their favorite Android and iOS devices. As an Applied Scientist on the team, you'll have big impact on how customers, even friends and family, engage with Amazon.

Working collaboratively, you will develop solutions to complex problems, such as designing the next generation of predictive algorithms to detect performance defects ahead of app release to production. You will identify opportunities to streamline operational tasks and work closely with the development team to design and build solutions that reduce manual intervention. Your work will impact the efficacy of the team in releasing the mobile apps on iOS and Android reliably and with confidence.

About the hiring team:

As part of the Build-Test-Release organization, you would have a broad scope of ownership solving ambiguous problems across multiple teams. Our charter is to enable the 150+ teams contributing to the development of Amazon's Shopping apps to experiment and deliver value to our customers quickly while maintaining high standards of quality. You will play a key role in our mission by identifying areas of improvements in building, testing, and releasing the apps to production.
