Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Applications Specialist, to our location in Renton, WA.

We are seeking an Applications Specialist, to work closely with the Sr. Manager Engineering and the REHG BI team to support various applications within REHG as they relate to current business and future needs. The person in this position uses existing application systems to ensure support of the company's business objectives. The Applications Specialist will be hands on and work with each application ensuring the functionality, procedures, processes, and overall quality of each application is performing effectively. The Application Specialist will also assist Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Application Developers with requirements, analysis, design, and testing of applications as needed.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

* Setup configuration and design of various applications within REHG as it relates to the change and need of the business.


* Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
* Recommend, plan, test, document, implement and provide training for improvements, enhancements and new applications to various systems.
* Implement new methods and applications in order to improve existing operations and to accommodate new business requirements.
* Prove data pulls from line of business and other applicable applications and create ad-hoc user-friendly reporting tools.
* Work with operations in validation of new processes.
* Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a policy for standardizing systems and software as necessary.
* Participate in projects for distribution/supply chain operations through strategy, planning, design, construct, transition, and deploy phases.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Associate's degree in technology or business, or equivalent educ/experience.
* Relevant experience in a professional environment; experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse or logistics sectors.
* Effective command of English language for communication in both written and oral skills to large and small groups in different venues.
* Understands standard Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes related to computer applications.
* Skilled with computer software and Applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.
* Strong computer software troubleshooting knowledge.
* Strong technical and analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Familiarity with Lawson and/or Oracle EBS.
* Familiarity with VBA, VB.Net, and/or c#.
* Lean Six Sigma; Green Belt upon hire.
