Apps Dev Sr. Programmer Analyst

Reporting to the OD&T Manager of Automation - eSign and Document Management, this role is responsible for project delivery as well as daily support activities for the FileNet and Kofax applications.

Primary responsibility of this position is to support projects and day-to-day system health for applications utilizing the FileNet suite of tools. The successful candidate will work with project teams, business partners and vendors to deliver technical expertise for all projects requiring document storage solutions. The candidate will also help transform the platforms over time to a more cohesive reference architecture and reduce TCO - total cost of ownership.

Description

* Support multiple businesses utilizing common Content Management applications, providing requirements analysis, design, and implementation of system upgrades, patching and technical support.
* Ensure day-to-day system health, quality and stability. Participate in the change control process and resolution of incident tickets
* Execute against the roadmap for document management enhancements which will increase output through automation, reduce process variability and eliminate or streamline process steps
* Plan, analyze, implement and support efficient and cost effective application software solutions
* Establish and build key relationships and partnerships across business, technology and operational lines
* Facilitate complex design work, advanced trouble-shooting, performance tuning and process improvement
* Conduct technical hands on implementation working closely with business, support and testing departments
* Develop test plans and assist development teams perform unit and integration testing of software
* Maintain application documentation including process procedures and standards
* Adherence to security and compliance standards

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Required
* Technology-related Bachelor's degree


* 5 - 7 years relevant work experience in Software Design and Development related to document capture and records management, such as FileNet Image Services, P8, Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Module and their respective add-on components


* Demonstrate a best practices approach to software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedule


* Sound judgment and decision making skills


* Ability to manage multiple priorities and change focus as needed


* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills


* Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, both co-located and offshore


* Familiarity with complex, multi-platform systems


* Ability to understand customer needs and manage expectations


* Critical thinking, analytical and troubleshooting skills


* Be self-motivated and a team player


* Knowledge of Unix, Red Hat Linix, Windows, Oracle, PCF micro Services


* Understanding of FileNet P8 Content Process Engine and relevant APIs


* Experience with multiple Operating Systems and Relational Database Management Systems (Unix, Red Hat Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL)


* Desired
* Experience with Agile framework


* Experience with Compliance, Information Security


* Proficiency with distributed, mainframe technologies is a plus


* Programming experience in VB and Java and scripting a plus


* Experience with Cloud based environments and exposure to S3 storage solutions
