Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgement. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Qualifications:

BS/ MS in computer science or any other related degree

Years of experience : 4-8

Excellent technical skills (Unix, ER Modeling, SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Java, ADF, HTML).

Strong coding, debugging and testing skills in Oracle Forms 4.5/6.0, SQL, PL/SQL, Java.

Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database .

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Good understanding of Applications Development from large product perspective.

Ability to work well under pressure on multiple escalated customer issues.

Ability to complete projects on time with high quality.

Ability to work both as team and as individual.
