Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Supplier Model Cloud enables companies to manage supplier data to support critical business processes that leverage suppliers such as procure-to-pay. Oracle Supplier solutions allow global companies to manage and interact with their supply base through a self-service portal that enables their suppliers to execute and access business transactions real-time. Our Supplier Portal product automates the entire supplier life cycle, supporting such activities as registration, bid and contract negotiation, procure to pay transaction tracking, and catalog and profile management. The Portal provides a common security and navigation model allowing additional supplier transaction flows such as supply chain planning or vendor managed inventory to be added or extended. Additionally, we provide critical tools for automating the arduous processes performed by buying companies to get their suppliers on-line to conduct business with them electronically.

Providing companies the ability to automate these traditionally manual supplier interactions drives huge savings given even the typical mid-size company manages thousands of active suppliers across their operations. Our applications are built on the latest cutting edge technologies from Oracle including Oracle Fusion Middleware, Business Components for Java, Oracle ADF, SOA, BPEL, ESS, REST, SOAP, JET, Weblogic, Oracle Database etc.

We are looking someone with core Java and database applications development experience. Web services, J2EE and SOA are a plus.
