What does an excellent Application Specialist do? Do you have a high level of financial accounting expertise coupled with an affinity for working directly with clients to take on complex problems? Essential Job Responsibilities:

* You have to monitor Client Interfaces Daily ticket queue and respond to incoming client inquiries.
* Work directly with Fiserv's clients to analyze and assist in resolving issues.
* Deep understanding of interface process and products provided by Fiserv.
* Participate in project initiatives to help improve group/associate/client workflow.
* Contribute to maintaining interface related documentation.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Math or Computer Science
* 1 years' experience in systems analysis
* Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Internet Explorer)
* Experience in basic troubleshooting technical or computer-related problems
* Experience working with customers in a support role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of file delivery protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, VPN)
* Understanding the financial industry
* Background in trading systems like FIX, Oasys, SunGard or Swift.
* Background in portfolio accounting systems like Advent, Portia, Indata, and GIM2.
