The Application Security Analyst is responsible for all technical matters related to PeopleSoft security management Support and oversight includes all PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial Management (FSCM) systems applications The PeopleSoft Security Administrator is a key participant in the development and maintenance of PeopleSoft application security this includes but is not limited to requirements gathering design development and maintenance of required security roles and permissions lists in support of business processes and ensuring the requirements for securing and restricting access to data within and outside of the PeopleSoft databases are met The PeopleSoft Security Administrator will work closely with the hosting partner and Oracle to ensure the overall health of the PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud environments.

Job Tasks

* Work with AMN teams including Application Development, and Business Process Owners to design and develop new security roles, permission lists, and tree designs within prescribed requirements.
* Maintain the trees in their respective modules (i.e. Department Security Tree in HCM)
* Maintain operator ids in non-production environments
* Maintain row level security access in all environments
* Analyze and resolve security access issues in all PeopleSoft environments, including Production, Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Training.
* Provide day-to-day application security support and administrative activities, including managing help desk tickets related to security configuration.
* Develop and maintains documentation related to security design, implementation, and practices. Stay informed of the latest features and functionality in order to enhance the existing security model to gain efficiencies.
* Provide functional and technical guidance to HR, Finance in supporting workflow processes.
* Perform security audits to ensure separations of duties are maintained.
* Respond and act on issues related to compliance, audits, security breaches and policy/procedure violations as requested by Senior Management.
* Provide functional and technical guidance to HR, Finance in supporting workflow processes.
* Oversight of services performing all areas of PeopleSoft system administration including evaluating the capabilities of the server hardware, installing the PeopleSoft software and related components, configuring and maintaining application servers and web servers, contributing to backup and recovery efforts, installing upgrades and patches, performing code migrations, and performing daily administrative tasks.
* Provide support to the ERP development teams on PeopleSoft related issues through all phases of the project lifecycle, as well as providing advanced troubleshooting and support to all users on PeopleSoft and related system issues.
* Develop strong relationships with end users to effectively troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
* Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested.

Education, Certifications & Experience

Minimum Education/Certifications:

* BA in Computer Science

Preferred Experience

* 5-7 years' experience in PeopleSoft application security design, configuration, and maintenance, to include at least 2 new implementations;
* PeopleSoft application security planning, design and configuration experience should include User Profiles & Preferences, Static & Dynamic Roles, Functional and Primary Permission Lists, Query & Department Trees, Row Level Security, Process Profiles and Definition Security;
* Experience in PeopleSoft Workflow administration
* Experience configuring and implementing Process Groups, Web Libraries, Web Services;
* Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools including Crystal, nVision, Query, and BI Publisher.
* Familiarity with PeopleTools 8.5x.toolset including Application Engine, Application Messaging, Component Interface, Integration Broker and PeopleCode;
* Experience single signon configuration and LDAP/Active Directory integration;
* Experience working with Database and Network Administrators to ensure that security requirements are accurately enforced throughout the underlying infrastructure;
* Working knowledge of and experience with all aspects of the security audit process;
* Ability to work independently and develop plans related to accomplishing multiple tasks and following the plans through to completion.
