JOB SUMMARY:

This development role is responsible for analyzing and resolving issues, requests and proposes system changes to the IFS Metrix Application and Database. This role will partner with a multitude of internal teams to successfully deliver and execute. Candidates will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be able to manage competing priorities, provide sound, logical planning of activities and be a team player. The role will also need to provide input on systems development and operations and the future planning thereof. The ideal candidate will have a substantial technological background with solid customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Revises computer programs, systems and related procedures to process data.
* Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
* Submits recommendations for solution.
* Prepares program specifications and diagrams.
* Develops coding logic flowcharts.
* Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with IT and end user departments.
* Works with minimum supervision.
* Decision making is performed independently and will affect business operations to a substantial degree.
* Other duties as assigned by the manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience in the enterprise n-tiered development, maintenance and support of Enterprise Resource Planning applications.
* Candidate must have a strong, demonstrable background in development using the following languages / tools:
* HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, C, C++, C#.
* SQL Server Development for the Web.


* A Bachelors Degree
* IFS Metrix experience is preferred
* Minimum 3-5 years application development experience in a fast paced business environment
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft business applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to work in both team environments and as an individual contributor

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* A candidate with IFS METRIX application development experience is highly preferred.
