Job Description

CACI is seeking an Application Data Administrator to support a Marine Corps Oracle R12 based ERP that provides near real-time visibility of retail supply, wholesale supply, equipment maintenance, and repair transactions.

What You'll Get to Do:

* You will support application and database activities in managing and maintaining multiple Oracle RDBMS environment instances in support of the Marine Corps program operations, maintenance, and deployment with the flexibility to add additional instances based on capacity planning and emerging new government requirements.
* You will ensure production uptime service levels are maintained and made available per requirements that include backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security (physical and data).

More About the Role:

* Apply IT industry best practices in database administration to maintain and sustain the production databases.
* Perform health checks and monitor system integrity and usability in accordance with the current requirements, AIM TA.155, or operating procedures.
* Monitor database performance, maintain database integrity, apply necessary patches, and perform preventive and corrective actions to sustain and improve system performance.
* Use existing Oracle monitoring tools to diagnosis database issues and conduct performance tuning and optimization.
* Administer space usage for table spaces within the environments and provide performance tuning and maintenance of the environments.
* Identify system event thresholds and implement proactive response alerts, respond to alerts, and initiate the incident management process pursuant to service restoration.
* Resolve data correction issues identified through monitoring and SR submissions.
* Provide the government functional design presentations, functional application testing, functional impact assessments, and recommendations for business procedure updates as required.
* Grant system access privileges as specified by the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) based on pre-defined roles (which will then be granted to database users) or directly to user accounts.
* Perform weekly and on-demand backups and initiate recoveries and refreshes when required for duration of the contract.
* Monitor the growth of the database segments and conduct capacity planning and forecasting. Report and present this data to the Government at the Weekly O&S meeting.
* Create and maintain database links to the environments and perform table and/or table space defragmentation operations to address any fragmentation issues, as necessary.
* Implement any product upgrades, such as Service Oriented Architecture/ Business Process Execution Language (SOA/BPEL), Grid Control, OBIEE, B2B migration, etc. as approved by change management.
* Monitor production interfaces to support problem identification and create CRs to address valid issues.
* Research, design, build, test, and promote approved changes per the Government's Service Transition processes, monitor changes to RICECPW, and validate patches to RICECPW components.
* Apply build/emergency/patch sets to Production environments and apply quarterly security patches as they become available by Release Management.
* Manage database environments to support troubleshooting production support problems, applying patches, and testing.
* Analyze scope, prepare, and execute CRs which may arise from high priority CRs authorized by the change management process and recommend via the change management process those changes that may provide more effective use or reduce maintenance costs from what is in the currently implemented business rules.
* Maintain Oracle wallets and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates for Oracle applications.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* Ten Years of IT experience, with at least 10 years' large-scale Oracle ERP sustainment experience
* Experience using WebLogic for Oracle eBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM12c to manage and monitor environments
* Must have experience of installation and support of Oracle RAC, SuperCluster and 11.5.10.2 and 12c database
* Experience upgrading Oracle databases
* Should have working knowledge of Maintaining DoD security Standards and Rules, including those related to the databases (e.g., Oracle CPU patching, access management, direct grant, db links, etc.).
* Should have experience of security monitoring, managing, and testing, such as IAVA's, patches, STIGs etc.
* Must have experience of designing and implementing single sign-on architecture of various supporting application such as SOA, OBIEE using available tools including but not limited to OAM/OID
* Bachelor's degree plus ten years relevant experience
* Relevant certifications, to include OCP, ITIL, etc.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen with at least an interim DOD Secret clearance or higher

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Prior Oracle EBS experience supporting a DoD customer
