Description

The Application Administrator for Edge Applications will maintain the health and reliability of the application software tools that work in conjunction with the core Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP system. This includes liaison with the Corporate Data Center team to ensure that the systems have

sufficient computing resources. This System Administrator will work with software vendors to apply patches and provide software upgrades for their respective software products.

Responsibilities

* Monitor "Edge" applications to ensure execution per prescribed schedules
* Provide liaison with Corporate team to ensure performance of edge applications
* Work with Oracle team to coordinate software upgrades and patches for edge applications
* Provide oversight for overall health of non-Oracle portfolio
* Provide guidance in selecting new software tools
* Provide testing or coordinate testing for any changes in edge system portfolio

* 10% travel required



Requirements

* Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field
* 1-3 years experience in Windows Server operating system
* 1-3 years experience in managing application software
* Strong interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Strong desire to learn new technologies and business applications
* Desire to work with business critical systems
