JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking an Android Developer for a Direct-Hire opportunity located in Plano, TX. The Android Developer will develop and launch new mobile products and extend existing platform functionality and will work with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and develop mobile applications.
* Develop Android Solutions that Deliver on Product Strategy
* Partner with Software Developers / UI / UX / QA / Product Owners / Analysts, etc.
* Remain Up-to-Date on Android Development Technologies - Java / Android SDK / AndroidWear / Android Studio / Gradle / Google Developments / 3rd Party Libraries, etc.
* Interface with Developers Across Various Disciplines (Android / iOS / APIs / Web, etc.)
* Android Studio Tooling Proficiency
* Detect / Abstract Common Patterns in the Code
* Understands Mobile Performance / Latency / Security Issues
* Open-Source Portfolio of Work on GITHub or Similar Repositories, etc. - Android Sub-Systems / Higher-Level Construct (Audio / Video / NDK / HCE / NFC / AOSP / Linux Kernel, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Android / Java Developer (4+ years)
* Android Studio / Android SDK (Software Development Kits) - Activities / Fragments / Intents / Layouts, etc.
