Finance Technology & Innovation - Senior Manager

The Finance & Enterprise Performance Offering works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization. Help CFO's and Finance Executive's elevate their role through innovative strategies, planning and tactical execution. As a Senior Manager, you are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways. You will be responsible for engagement management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk. Senior Managers manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. You will be expected to participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.

Work you'll do

Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

* Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk


* Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors


* Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies


* Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals


* People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Finance & Enterprise Performance

Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Qualification requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience


* 8+ years' EPM experience implementing one or more of the following technologies: Anaplan, Hyperion Planning, HFM, PBCS/ePBCS, OneStream. Anaplan Solution Architect expertise


* 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience


* 4+ years' experience overseeing multiple project teams, experience leading or managing teams and change initiatives (especially in a project management role)


* Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources


* Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)


* Superior critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills


* Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills


* Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings


* Commitment to personal and professional growth


* Sense of responsibility to self, team, and client


* Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion


* Record of consistent career progression with increasing levels of responsibility


* Ability to lead teams and own deliverables


* Ability to work in an ambiguous environment


* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment


* Willingness and ability to travel 80%-100%



Preferred Skills:

* Demonstrated sales experience


* Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes


* A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines


* Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team


* Proven skills as a project manager on multiple full life cycle implementations


* Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients


* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment


* Ability to engage and manage senior-level client relationships


* Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)


* Willingness to mentor junior staff


* Master's degree preferred
