DU Networks, DNEW, is responsible for Radio Design that fulfills the assignments received by PA Networks within the budget frames from Business Control. DU Networks is also responsible for Radio Design, fulfilling Customer Unit sponsored assignments. DU Networks shall always leverage leading radio business opportunities and secure technological evolution.

Within DSI, Development Services and Infrastructure, we are in the phase of creating a service-minded organization capable of providing a world class development and test environment that is flow optimized, infusing a change that drives us to be able to simplify and reduce the vast variety of existing development and test environments including tools. To be able to increase competitiveness we need to dramatically improve the flow for the product development by having an on-demand development and test environment.

We need a completely new look in this area to remove bottlenecks and get to a quality inspired way of working that increases our speed with One stop shop for all things that makes the Development flow work.

System Management, SM, within DSI a has the responsibility to define the Production Product Architecture to improve the quality and improve the flow. One key way to achieve an improved flow for the product development is to make good use of the large amount of data generated during product development. It enables us to understand our environment, so the right decisions can be made about its ongoing development and effort can be focused where it will have the most impact. We also must process this data to provide input to automation of ever-increasing scope, so that the environment itself makes decisions. We are currently in search of a person with knowledge of data analytics platforms, tools, and techniques and experience in stakeholder management/ requirement handling to join us in creating the analytics system architectures needed to support this.

Job Summary:

The Production Product section within DSI System Management is now looking for a System Architect with a focus on continuous improvement using analytical approaches. You will be part of an international team supporting DU Networks. You are expected to actively contribute to the Analytics solutions (including application of data analysis or machine learning algorithms) with requirement handling and architectural design. You are expected to have a continuous dialogue with users and developers to understand requirements, so ensure that the right solution that solves right problem us being developed and to help the stakeholders see future needs and solutions. You must be analytical, structural and result oriented with excellent cooperative skills.

Responsibility & Tasks:

* Within the area of analytics for our Engineering Environment at DNEW take a technical leadership role and drive the stakeholder engagement, requirement handling and cooperation internally at DSI and towards the PDUs in the area of analytics.
* Actively contribute to the technical definition of the Production Product roadmap with a focus on analytics. You will review proposed solutions against architectural principles and the roadmap. You will be actively involved in architecturally significant changes, e.g. in the introduction of new services.
* Closely and actively cooperate with all BID sections as well as with all DNEW PDUs
* Set the strategy for the tools/ methods that generate insights by merging many different data types from lab networks for analysis
* Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes for analytics
* Identify and drive new use cases with a relevant business impact for DNEW
* Steer analytics related development within DSI

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

* Experience of stakeholder management and requirement handling
* Proven ability to negotiate and collaborate to reach solutions in a multi stakeholder environment
* Quality mindset, ability for strategic thinking and a drive to always improve
* Knowledge of industry trends in the area
* Knowledge of data analysis platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
* Knowledge of storage solutions such as MapR, Cloudera, CEPH
* Competence in Continuous integration practices

It is an advantageous to have any of the below

* Competence in mathematics and statistics
* Knowledge of DNEW development environment
* Knowledge of Eiffel based CI infrastructure
* Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. MS Azure, AWS etc.)
* Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks
* Excellent collaborative ability

Job Location: Sweden, Kista, Linköping operationally interfacing units in all relevant DNEW sites.
