Analyst-Solutions Management

Job Duties: Responsible for designing, testing, implementing, documenting and supporting rail PTC (Positive Train Control) and Train Control systems including supporting transportation systems that allow for remote control of trackside power switches and signals to control train movement; analyzes situations to develop the PTC back office systems as well as support the operation of a continuous improvement of these systems; develops specifications for the modification of existing or design of new systems for Centralized Traffic Control (CTC), track authority and operating bulletins as well as key back office interfaces between these systems supporting Positive Train Control (PTC) and corporate business systems; develops and executes test strategies, test plans and test procedures to validate that the system correctly implement specifications, and will prepare schedules and budgets for projects; technical resource to departments and provides project management assistance and field support to contractors and technical support to install and maintain signal and warning functions within the railway system; conducts quality control and quality assurance inspections and develops reports.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Electronic, Communications or Electrical Engineering and 2 years of experience in position offered or as Electronic Engineer. Alternatively, will accept Master of Science in Electrical and Communications Engineering and 1 year of experience in position offered or as Electronic Engineer. Will accept any job title so long as it included: systems performance evaluation and testing of 4G LTE Network Extender IOT devices and analysis of RF networks; sensors and embedded system design and integration with on board computer and wireless communications devices, and SQL diagnostic, queries and reports. U.S. and Canada travel required.
