Job Description

Position Summary

The Analyst, Risk Analytics will report to and be responsible for assisting the senior analyst in providing critical support to the company with respect to independent research, technical analysis, reporting, and project management. This position is hands-on and requires knowledge of information security operations, including understanding of defense-in-depth strategies, familiarity with security solutions and security operations monitoring. This position also requires strong interpersonal skills, given the cross-functional nature of relevant projects. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting Cybersecurity related efforts including the establishment of IS/Cyber management reporting and risk thresholds, the development and maintenance of IS policy(s) and the implementation of company-wide IS awareness training campaigns.

Essential Responsibilities

* Support the development of IS/Cyber metrics through source identification,data gathering and analysis
* Generate dashboard reporting in line with established risk appetite/metric thresholds to help enable business and management decisions
* Update and advise on the interpretation of overarching IS Policy
* Ensure Policy requirements are filtered thru to Standards and procedures
* Draft/coordinate new CyberSecurity policies as needed
* Issue Management tracking and reporting
* Help coordinate Incident Management/Response Requirements, assist IT Security with updated PlayBooks
* Help deliver a company-wide IS awareness and training campaign, inclusive of email blasts, online and in-person training sessions, and lunch & learn sessions
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

* Bachelors' degree
* One (1) years of experience in information security operations field
* Experience in incident response
* Familiarity with information security tools (e.g., FireEye, Bluecoat, Rapid7, etc.)
* Understanding of internal audit and risk management concepts
* Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 2700x, CobIT, COSO, PCI, etc.)
* Available for occasional overnight travel (5%)
* Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
* Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

* Three (3) years of experience in information security field
* Information Security/Cyber certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.)
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance matters (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GLBA, TSA, etc.)
* Familiar supporting Security Awareness Programs
* Experience in the airline industry
* Excellent interpersonal skills to influence business and IT teams to follow and implement information security controls

* Regular attendance and punctuality
* Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
* Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
* When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

* Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
* Identify safety and/security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
