Overview:

The Analyst for cyber security applications and cloud will be responsible for integrating security tools, standards and processes into the application life-cycle for key applications, residing on premise, in the cloud and on mobile platforms. They will be responsible for working with developers on the appropriate level of security knowledge to perform their daily activities and researching security vulnerability disclosures while designing appropriate mitigations. They will also be responsible for collaborating with application owners to conduct application security risk assessments.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure cloud security services and infrastructure are managed and monitored in accordance with defined controls and standards.
* Track, prioritize, and communicate identified security issues.
* Advise stakeholders on risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
* Advocate for a positive approach to application security.
* Improve and support application security tool deployments including static analysis and dynamic testing tools.
* Integrate threat modeling practices into the product life-cycle.
* Provide security requirements for test‐driven design.
* Support application penetration testing activities on core applications and API's.
* Support the improvements to secure development standards.
* Ensure strict change and configuration management (including all documentation) across all sited ans services.

Requirements:

* Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science preferred or 1-3 years equivalent work experience in IT Security
* Ability to translate security concepts into meaningful information for all audiences and be a security evangelist with a risk management perspective.
* Ability to explain vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10, WASC TCv2, and CWE 25 to any audience, and discuss effective defensive techniques.
* Ability to learn quickly, be self motivated to improve knowledgebase and tackle new challenges.
* Fleet Security Metrics; security issues impacting generation; % of installed Security tools maintained healthy and current; % of planned work completed on time and on-budget; % of compliance controls completed on time; % of security alerts not addressed within schedule; % of identified issues without actions plans
