Job Description

The Agile Software Developer will execute true end-to-end development and testing of software products in an agile lifecycle. Partnering with key technical and business stakeholders, the agile developer will help refine the product vision, estimate and design a solution, create, purchase, or customize the requisite hardware and software to create the solution, ensure the quality of the final product through manual and automated tests, and support the new software as it is moved to production.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience
* At least 10 years of work experience in Application Development/IT Systems Testing, and team leadership

Preferred Skills/Experience

* 10 or more years of experience working as a business analyst/developer/tester with Calypso or similar applications in derivatives domain
* 10 or more years exposure to front office, middle office and back office of interest rate derivatives business
* 10 or more years data mining using SQL with Oracle/SQL Server
* Extensive experience working with swaps, swaptions, capfloors, interest rate futures, interest rate options, credit derivatives and commodity futures/options
* Extensive experience with trade pricing, risk reports, accounting, settlements, collateral, hedge accounting, swap data reporting (SDR) and Basel reporting
* Experience with agile scrum software like JIRA, Confluence, Version One
* Expertise in using various tools like visio diagrams, power point etc. to effectively communicate with business users, developers and testers
* Familiarity with custom code for Calypso or a similar application
* Strong understanding of system and network architecture

Ability to identify, resolve, and retest defects
