OverviewThe Agile Program Manager is a servant leader that applies advanced agile principles to drive continuous improvement in an iterative delivery environment. Working as a member of one or more Scrum or Kanban teams, the Agile Program Manager will act as the single point of contact to business stakeholders for status and escalating impediments. This position applies a detailed knowledge of business, technology, and agile principles to help teams accelerate value delivery. Responsibilities JOB DUTIES

* Single point of contact to business stakeholders for program/ product delivery in an agile environment
* Acts as Scrum Master for one or more delivery teams
* Helps lead agile adoption at scale
* Escalates and helps resolve program-level impediments
* Helps ensure value delivery, and drives continuous improvement
* Drives resolution of dependencies across teams
* Protects team from outside distractions and context switching
* Responsible for release management for the program/ product
* Responsible for program/ product agile metrics
* Develop and maintain productive working relationships with program owners, business functions, IT, vendors, and other project stakeholders
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Conform with all company policies and procedures
* Actively participate in evaluating and improving the Agile Program Management Methodology
* Facilitates all Agile ceremonies and drives continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications Knowledge

* Certified Scrum Master
* Must exhibit strong knowledge of agile principles including Scrum and Kanban
* Must exhibit strong knowledge of GM Financials core business functions, policies and procedures
* Must have advanced knowledge of ITS, program management, the financial services industry and regulatory compliance of applicable state and federal lending laws
* Must be proficient in the use of Digital IT ALM and Agile delivery tools such as, but not limited to, TFS, Jira, and Azure DevOps

Education

* Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience

* 5-7 years experience in a project or program management role (ie PM, or CSM) required
* 2-4 years of leadership experience required
* 2-4 years of vendor management experience required

Licenses

* CSM - Certified Scrum Master preferred
* Scaled Agile Certification preferred
