Essential Duties:

* Work as Release Train Engineer (RTE) as per the Scaled Agile framework.
* Represent and manage multiple Tribes and underlying Squads as per the direction form PMO.
* Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) using various tools.
* Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs).
* Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings.
* Escalate and track impediments
* Work closely with the Scrum Master/Sr. Scrum Master to understand how project team is performing and help build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised openly with an emphasis on problem-solving.
* Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
* Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
* Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.

Required Skills/Experience:

* Experience in playing the Project Manager role for at least 2-4 year for a software development teams that were diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
* Proven experience transforming teams and organizations to Agile/Scrum/SAFe from waterfall or other methodologies.
* Relevant certifications such as SAFe Advanced Scrum Master or SAFe Release Train Engineer.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

* Certified SAFe Agilist for enterprise leadership.
* Experience is playing the RTE role for at least 3 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
* Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
* Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.
* Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
