Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks a Advisory Senior Consultant in Chicago, IL.

Work You'll Do

Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects. Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services. Construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches. Develop information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards. Utilize knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, information technology (IT) controls, business and IT management processes, and market trends on client engagements. Generate innovative ideas and participate in decision making with engagement management. Build and nurture strong client relationships.

Requirements

* Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).


* Eighteen months of experience designing and architecting cyber risk controls for software application environments.


* Experience must include eighteen months of:
* Utilizing cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platform;


* Working with tool languages, including Java, C++, Python, and shell scripting;


* Implementing tools, processes, and organizational changes for automated security and developing operating models and future roadmaps to achieve continued improvements;


* Developing and executing application security strategies, including security architecture review, container security, threat modeling, security testing, infrastructure as a code, and automating other processes;


* Assisting with program management activities, including collaborating with cross functional teams, budgeting, managing timelines, prioritizing security and privacy needs, and supervising junior team members; and


* Integrating security tools, including Fortify, Checkmarx, Aqua, and development tools, including Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.




* Position requires approximately 80% travel.
