Overview

Zebra's Global Information Security Organization is looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our high-performing team. This position will be responsible for multiple security disciplines including, but not limited to, threat intelligence and vulnerability management. Other responsibilities will be assigned based on skillset and interest; we support rotational assignments to build well-rounded team members.

Responsibilities

* Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
* Lead threat intelligence and vulnerability management function
* Drive process improvements to reduce risk and/or improve operational efficiency
* Drive efforts to remediate findings from external assessments
* Establish penetration test strategies and validate remediation effectiveness
* Able to lead the implementation of select new security technologies
* Be the subject matter expert for assigned security technologies
* Lead and/or participate in incident response activities including forensic investigation
* Generate metrics and report progress on areas of responsibility to leadership
* Create operating procedures for level 1 and level 2 support teams

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

Work Experience: 8+ years of experience
