Support a Navy acquisition client in managing its system portfolio by applying knowledge of the DoD 5000 series acquisition frameworks. Assist the client with developing and evaluating acquisition strategies, performing analyses, developing and reviewing documentation, including requests for proposal (RFPs) and statements of work (SOWs), and applying expertise in acquisitions. Support the Navy client in systems acquisition planning and execution. Prepare milestone or decision briefs to convey program plans to stakeholders. Provide updates and advise on program status, schedule, and risk.
Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience with working in a DoD systems acquisition program office * Experience in working with government staff at the program executive officer (PEO) or program manager (PM) level * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite * Knowledge of the DoD 5000 acquisition framework and contracting requirements * Secret clearance * BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with a Navy program preferred * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills * Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), or Project Management Certification (PMP) Certification a plus
