Job Summary

Lead all phases of customer interaction including customer analysis and design implementation. Support NFV infrastructure for IOT, 5G and 4G LTE network elements. Deploy Redhat OpenStack for Production & Labs. Design and build OpenStack cloud infrastructure on bare-metal hardware for Sprint IOT, 5G, 4G LTE projects. Lead the NFVI team and host training as needed to the team and clients. Support Virtual Network Functions (VNF) team in deploying, configuring, and upgrades. Automate tasks using configuration management tool. Monitor Health of Openstack and hardware.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field plus three years of related experience. Related experience must include: Three years of troubleshooting and working with Virtual Network Functions including: Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco, Maviner, Redhat, Star OS, and Meta Switch; Production and lab environment support using: Linux, Openstack, and Ansible tower (Three years in each); and Cisco UCS servers (Two years); Three years of automating manual tasks using: Shell script and Python; Three years of monitoring all hardware and software health using: Nagios and HP Open View; Two years of deploying Redhat Openstack on Cisco UCS servers to support VNFs for IOT and 5G networks using: Kubernetes.
