Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Join us as we build a next-generation analytics platform to serve our world-class agents. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll help build a platform of robust analytics features that lay the foundation for optimizing agent and broker productivity that bring Realogy's renowned real estate brands into the next era of data-driven excellence.

What we're looking for:

You are an aspiring, creative, and motivated Senior Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' QA experience in a professional software development environment, with exposure to testing native mobile applications on the Android and/or iOS platforms being a plus.

What you'll do:

* Develop QA automation and testing strategy
* Develop and execute test plans and testing strategies based on software requirements, technical specifications and consultation with Product and Development team members
* Communicate with developers, product managers and technical support specialists on critical issues
* Perform integration tests on web services and APIs using SoapUI, Postman, Swagger, and other testing tools
* Design, code and execute automated test cases, including integration with DevOps tools
* Write automation scripts to validate quality, performance, resiliency, and security of cloud based-services and applications
* Set up and troubleshoot automation environments
* Maintain current automation artifacts scripts
* Identify bottlenecks for scalability and performance
* Log and verify defects and report results
* Contribute in the architecting and implementation of cloud-based solutions
* Perform code reviews

Skills, accomplishments, & interests you should have:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (various models)
* Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and experience testing software that gets deployed commercially
* 10+ years in IT or Software Engineering including software test automation
* 2+ years experience in AWS cloud environment
* 5+ years of QA automation experience experience
* Experience with AWS Core Services: EC2, ECS, ELB, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM
* Extensive experience in advanced automation and strong understanding of automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter, Junit, Mocha
* Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies
* Experience with version control (Git), bug tracking, and CI / CD systems and procedure
* Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML
* Programming Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript/Node JS, C++ - Highly proficient in at least 1
* Experience with web services and API testing; experience testing microservices is a plus
* Working knowledge of Unix shell, SQL, Java, Python, and/or other programming or scripting languages; knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins (or alternative), containerization, and cloud deployment and testing are all desirable
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex ideas, designs and issues to both technical and non-technical staff
* Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment with a focus on exceptional service delivery
* Comfortable with Linux
