UK schools spend well over £2bn per year on covering short-term absences with supply teachers. The current model is exclusively reliant on agencies that charge massive commissions and are extremely inefficient (everything is paper and phone-call based). We are consolidating this analogue, fragmented, and inefficient marketplace onto a digital platform. Think Uber for supply teachers. In the process, we'll put hundreds of millions of pounds back in the education system and have a huge positive impact on teachers and schools.
We're backed by high-profile investors (including senior education figures) and led by startup veterans behind two of London's most prominent tech companies.

This is your chance to join a tech startup on the ground floor. As an early employee, you will play a significant role in the development of the company and have the opportunity for rapid career progression and learning.
We're looking for people looking to take their skills to the next level by joining a small, talented product delivery team in an agile environment.
We like people who are comfortable:
Our interview process begins with an introductory call to help you better understand the opportunity, give us a glimpse into your interests and motivations, and help you decide if Zen Educate is the right place for your next step to learn, grow and be happy.
We have a short coding task we've found is useful to understand your skills and after completing that you'll speak with one of our Engineers where we can also discuss your approach.
Lastly, you'll be invited by video — and back onsite to our office in Oval when possible — to meet with other members of the delivery team and one of the company founders. Hopefully, then you'll have been able to ask all the questions you need and we'll be in a position to make a decision.
