For most individuals, small companies, and even larger companies, hiring an Engineering firm is often prohibitively expensive.
But there really aren't any other viable options for those who need engineering.
We.Do is a social network for innovative engineers to collaborate on design projects that are important to them. It is additionally a community-based collaborative engineering platform—kinda like Github, but for mechanical, electrical & civil engineers, architects, etc. Like Wikipedia, their contributions are available to anyone, anywhere, and forever. But instead of recording the past, WeDoers design the future.
On We.Do, engineers can join projects that interest them, create new designs, make alterations to existing designs, share ideas, gain feedback, find inspiration, make friends and expand their professional network.
For those who need engineering services, We.Do offers a unique alternative to high-priced engineering firms, and the potential to produce superior work, for less money, in less time.
For the Beta version, We.Do needs to enable its users to find projects to work on and peers to work with, as well as provide them with the tools to collaborate, communicate, organize, view and validate their work.
Looking forward, We.Do’s capabilities will continue to expand in order to meet the demands of its users and provide them with more of the resources they need.
We have big plans. Big plans.
The entire site has already been fully designed, including different page states, menus, forms and mobile versions as well.
We realize that some details may need to be altered and tweaked during the build, but for the most part, we really just need someone to bring our designs to life.
